Event This Week: Henna Art and LGBTQA Book Group

Henna Art
Tuesday, July 14
4:00-6:00 p.m.
Robbins Library Community Room
Join Professional Henna Artist Mandy Roberge in this unique workshop where library patrons can receive beautiful henna tattoos while learning about the history of the art form, known as mehndi. The henna paste is applied artfully to the skin in breathtaking designs, and stains the skin for several weeks. It is safe for all skin types. Patrons are welcome to bring designs of their own choosing. For ages 12-18, please register here.

Teens Only LGBTQA Book Group
Wednesday, July 15
7-8 p.m.
Robbins Library Conference Room
A book group just for LGBTQA teens and their teen allies. July’s book is Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel by Sara Farizan. Even if you don’t get a chance to read the book, please join us to discuss future meetings and to choose a book for the August meeting. Books will be available in the Teen Area.
