If you are a teen who loves to read then join us for a Teens Only Book Chat Wednesday, September 17 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Robbins Library Teen Area!
What is a book chat? It's an opportunity to get together and talk about books. There is no monthly recommended book to read leaving the conversation open to any and all books.
Why a book chat? It is a way to learn about new books as well as share your love or reading with other fans of books. You are able to read any book you please taking away the stress of finishing a book by a specific date.
There are a couple of ground rules for our book chat in order to make it an enjoyable experience for all.
1- Be respectful of the other readers. Everyone has their own opinion, especially when it comes to what we like to read. If you hate a book that someone loves, try not to bash it. You can have your own opinion without belittling their love of a book.
2- No spoilers!!! I know this is hard, but just try to keep them to yourself so a book doesn't get ruined for someone else in the group.
