Textile Workshop Wednesday!

There is still space in our Creating Textile with Adinkra Symbols workshop on Thursday, June 4 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Robbins Library Community Room.
Workshop participants will learn the historical meaning of some of the Adinkra Symbols, each with its own unique shape, meaning, and how these symbols are transferred to textile by the Ashinti people of Ghana. “Creating Textile with Adinkra Symbols” challenges participants to expand their knowledge on Ghanaian culture all while engaging in a fun, innovative art focus workshop.

This FREE event is for youth ages 12-18, register here. Minimum of 3 teens registered to run.
