Going Vegan or Vegetarian

Many people make the decision to become vegetarian when they are in their teens. What are some of the reasons to choose this way of eating? What to say to grownups who worry about protein in your diet. It’s not enough to just not eat meats if your diet consists of french fries, bagels and sodas. What do you need to know to be healthy? Best of all we’ll try making a couple of vegetarian recipes and go home with more recipes and sources of information for those who want to know more.
For youth ages 12 and up.
Limited to 20 participant. Please arrive 30 minutes early to secure a spot in the program.
