Friday Movie!

Movie That Dare Not Speak Its Name!
Friday, March 1st
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Robbins Library
Community Room

Monthly movie for teens. We can't tell you what it is, but check back for blog posts or on our Facebook page for hints about this months title. You can also call or come into the library for more information.

Here are some hints:

1- Some may describe this movie as "Glee" with college students.

2- Anna Kendrick is one of the main characters.  You might remember her from movies such as "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" and the "Twilight" movies.

3- The movie poster has the colorful slogan "Get Pitch Slapped".

4- Parts of this movie were filmed at LSU, but the slogan "music for the independent mind" was taken from Emerson's radio station 88.9 WERS.

Closed Monday

The Robbins Library and the Fox Library (as always) will be closed Monday, February 18th in celebration of Presidents' Day.
Both libraries will reopen Tuesday with regular hours.

I would like to say a special thanks to George Washington for being so awesome that we get a holiday in your honor.  Even though the day has been changed to celebrate all our past presidents, you were the initial reason for the holiday.  Here is a random video from History.com about George Washington.

Closing Early and No Ponies

Due to the threat of a blizzard, the library will be closing at Noon today and will be closed Saturday.  Yes, that does mean that the Pony Party is cancelled.  :(  I will do my best to reschedule, but it looks like it may have to wait until April.
Be safe during the storm.
